Contest Prep For All Experience Levels

Maybe you’re not sure of what you want to do and feeling totally lost.  If you’ve never competed before and are looking to do your first show, no doubt you have a ton of questions.  What show do I pick?  Should I compete in figure? wellness? bikini? WPD?We know what the judges want to see and can get you there.

Maybe you're panicked thinking when  do I get my competition suit?  When will I be ready?  How do I pose?  Should I tan myself or pay to get sprayed at the show?  Am I on track?  How much will this cost? What do I do after the competition?

 

Or maybe you’ve competed before – you’re looking to improve your conditioning from your previous stage physique, put on more size, switch divisions, or all of the above. 

Whether you’re in off-season or a growth phase or ready to jump straight into prep, we’ll create a plan that does exactly what it needs to be – as efficient as possible with no wasted energy.

We Coach With THE LONG GAME In Mind

We realize that many athletes don’t fully understand how prep coaching works, how it works most effectively, and how we specifically recommend it at LimitedEdition.
 

We cannot express how much of an advantage it is to work with your coach during the pre competition season aka off-season before you diet.

We like to work with every athlete for at least one calendar year of learning their body and our coach/client relationship before their first contest season with us.
 

Why?
 

Because the likelihood of success, both physically and mentally is far greater and healthier this way. (lets be honest, bodybuilding is an extreme sport)

And to be honest, about 60% of the time we are approached by new athletes who hope to start dieting right off the bat, we ask them not to. (Yet.)Most athletes will complete a 3-12 month building phase before officially beginning a contest prep phase which will generally take 12-20 weeks of structured dieting.
 

You see, in the world of bodybuilding, where people are already hungry for success and maximizing results, they are likely to be in a poor starting position. They are often training too much or incorrect stimulation, eating too little or the wrong foods, or doing too much cardio.

It’s like trying to start your car in -30C/-22F with 2% battery left because you left the internal light on...not going to be pretty
 

It’s still possible to start a dieting phase, but why do it in an already-compromised state? A well-fed, well-rested, intelligently-trained athlete can start their contest prep in a much more advantageous position for a whole slew of physical, mental, and emotional reasons.
 

And working with your coach throughout your off-season (or “pre-season”) to guide you into this prime state is the best way we can ensure it.
